If you’re looking for something fun to add to your Easter table that doesn’t require a ton of effort, these stuffed crescent roll carrots are one of my favorite go-to recipes. They look adorable on a platter, kids love them, and they come together with simple ingredients you probably already have on hand.

These are perfect for Easter brunch, a spring gathering, or even just a fun snack to make with your kids the week before the holiday. They feel festive without feeling complicated, which is always my goal when hosting.
Why These Work So Well for Easter
They instantly make a table look festive
They can be made ahead of time
They are easy for guests to grab and eat
They work as an appetizer, snack, or light lunch addition
And honestly, anything shaped like a carrot in April just feels right.
Ingredients
1 can crescent roll dough
Foil for shaping molds
1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Filling
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 to 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning
Optional: chopped green onion or bacon bits
Garnish
Fresh parsley or dill (for stems)
Instructions
Start by shaping small pieces of foil into cone shapes to create your carrot molds. Lightly spray them with cooking spray so the dough
releases easy after baking

Unroll the crescent dough and cut it into long strips. Wrap each strip around a foil cone, slightly overlapping as you go so there are no gaps.
Brush the dough with egg wash and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before gently removing the foil molds.
While they cool, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar, ranch seasoning, and any optional add-ins until smooth and creamy.
Spoon or pipe the filling into the baked crescent shells, then add a small sprig of parsley or dill at the top to create the carrot stems.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

It’s one of those simple recipes that’s easy to forget until you see it again, and once you make it once, it tends to become a spring tradition.
I always love to have matching trays on hand for holiday treats. They make everything feel a little more pulled together, and they’re perfect for setting out snacks, desserts, or party bites. These are the ones I recommend if you want something simple, clean, and easy to use year after year.
